Medieval features including pits, post holes and an oven located during excavations. Roman pottery was also recovered.

Full Description

Three trenches, centred at SY 92268760, were excavated between St Martins House and North Street. Trench 1: A gully and pit both Early Medieval, were discovered. Trench 2: Several gullies, pits and post-holes probably spanning the C10th-C13th/C14th. No structured patterns. The base of a Medieval oven was found. <2>
