Full Description

Five Barrow Hill Group of six round barrows, including three bells in an almost straight line along the summit of a slight ridge: 'D'-(32)-SY 87638393. Bowl barrow, 62ft diameter and 4 1/2ft high. <3>

Site of a Bronze Age bowl barrow, much mutilated by military activity. The spread barrow is as much as 39m across and is visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs <6>. It is one of a linear barrow cemetery on Five Barrow Hill. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
