Medieval field system associated with the medieval settlement at North Egliston. Ridge and furrow cultivation associated with the field system were visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (2-3). They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.

'(11) STRIP FIELDS (896809, 89458053-89998022) cover some 10 acres N.E. of North Egliston and 16 acres to the S.E. Some are bounded by low narrow banks but all are disturbed.'
