Full Description
Parallel linear strips noted on 1947 aerial photos, perhaps the remains of ridge and furrow. (1)
The linear strips described above in (1) appear to be trackways on aerial photographs of 1945. They are visible over an area measuring 300 m by 105 m. The possible trackways are located adjacent to what appears to be an agricultural site (see MDO30805) and may be associated with it. (2) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.

GODLINGSTON MANOR: Parallel linear strips visible on AP's. The site lies in a field occasionally ploughed and in ley pasture when visited. Situated to the E. of the deciduous woodland of Godlingston Wood. RAF/VAP/1946/ 1821-2397.
