Full Description
A system of medieval or post medieval enclosures or wood banks is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on Newton Heath, Studland. The boundaries form two sub-rectangular enclosures visible over an area measuring approximately 370 m by 170 m. The boundaries are formed of linear banks, some with associated ditches. (2) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
