Full Description

In the front garden No 1 Council Cottages Blackmanston is a worked stone of some antiquity. Surveyed at SY 91558097.
It is octagonal in shape with a central hollow with a diameter of 13 inches. Height of stone 18 inches. It may be the base of a Medieval cross. The occupiers of the cottage had no knowledge of its original site.
