Full Description

A bowl barrow. Diameter 16 paces, height 3.5ft. <5>

'A'. A bramble and scrub covered bowl barrow with no visible ditch. Diameter 16.0 metres, height 1.3 metres. <3>

'A' - SY 68059414. Barrow ?, about 48ft. Diameter and 3.5ft high, overgrown and much disturbed, on the summit of Wood Hill. <7>

SY 680941. Round barrow south of Wood Hill Clump. Scheduled. <8>

Both barrows are now ploughed, with 'A' measuring 21.3 metres in diameter and 1.0 metres high, while 'B' measures 16.2 metres in diameter and averages 0.5 metres high. <9>

SY 68049413. A bowl barrow located on the summit of Wood Hill. The barrow mound measures 20 metres in diameter and 0.6 metre high. Scheduled. <10>

A small mound, 12m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. This is the possible site of a Bronze Age barrow.<11>
