Monument record MDO7771 - Lime kiln at South Barn, Langton Matravers

Summary
A lime kiln marked on the second edition (1900-2) Ordnance Survey map, and recorded as ‘old limekiln’. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be late nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure.
