Find Spot record MDO7754 - Roman coin hoard, Leeson House, Langton Matravers

A hoard of third century Roman brass coins found contained within a full small earthen-ware pot (now untraced) about the year 1842 on digging the foundations of the new dining room at Leeson House, then the property of J.B. Garland.

No further information except that the coins were found when the foundations of the present house were built at SZ 00467868. <2>
