Full Description
Archaeological evaluation identified a single ditch of at least 25m in length, observed in 3 of the 4 evaluation trenches. Romano-British coarseware was recovered from fills. The excavators interpreted it as field boundary or drainage ditch. They concluded that it almost certainly extended beyond area covered by the evaluation, and was likely to be associated with the known Romano-British settlement at Norden. (Cox and Chandler 1996)
