Summary

In 1989 the Trust for Wessex Archaeology carried out archaeological investigations in advance of construction of the final Wytch Farm infield pipeline connecting the gathering station on Wytch Heath to Wellsite G on the Arne peninsula. West of the Corfe River a single-phase Late Iron Age site was excavate within the pipeline route. This settlement appeared to be contemporary with phase 3 of a settlement east of the river.
