Full Description

A letter dated 22 September 1988 from Professor W H C Frend to R N R Peers of the Dorset County Museum reports the finding of thumb-impressed New Forest ware and some fragments of Romano-British coarse ware, including the top of a flanged bowl of grey fabric, in a newly-ploughed field on the eastern edge of West Hill.
