Full Description
(Area centred SY 971798) Medieval Lynchets. <1>
There is now one lynchet, about 170m long. At its E end it is 2m high and continues thus for 70m. Thereafter it becomes progressively more ploughed down and is barely perceptible at its western end. <2>
Fragments of lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945/6 <3-4>.
