Full Description

Surface finds of flint scrapers, cores and flakes found by P.A. Brown, circa 1956, at 'D'-SY 973809; 'E'-SY 977808 and 'F'-SY 979806. In finder's possession. <1>

'E'-SY 97708082. Half of a polished Neolithic axehead of yellow flint, a flint pick, 5 ins long, and a leaf-shaped Neolithic arrowhead were found by P.A. Brown in 1964. <2>

'E'-SY 977808. Mesolithic tranchet axe and microburin found at Harman's Cross. In Brown Collection. <3>

A barb-and-tanged arrowhead and other worked flints were found at SY97758075. These remain with the finder, PA Brown. <5>

β€˜P. A. Brown has half of a polished Neolithic axe-head of yellow flint, a flint pick or hoe about 5ins. long, and a finely flaked leaf-shaped Neolithic arrow-head 1.2ins. long but with untrimmed bulb of percussion, found at SY 97708082 near flints recorded in Proceedings, Vol. 78 (1956), p. 75.’
