Full Description
An oval mound, 26m by 18m, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar to the north of Encombe House (2-3). It is of uncertain date and function although it's proximity to a small quarry may indicate that it is a spoil heap. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
