Mr. P. A. Brown reports several surface finds of flint implements in the Wealden Clay region south of the chalk ridge, all within 300 yards of a small stream: … the Swanage road. (b) Flakes and scrapers, in the field north of that road, adjoining the parish boundary (97358059). …’
