Summary

Full Description

SY 96308117 "PA Brown reports that Mr D King, occupant of one of a group of new houses at Town's End adjoining Corfe Common, about 100 ft above sea level on Wealden Beds, has a quantity of sherds found in digging the foundations; these include Iron Age 'C' or early Romano-British ware, and later Romano-British sherds.
Inspection of the garden yielded negative results. A neighbour, Mrs Bollom, has a quantity of medieval sherds from her house (96288117)". <1>
