Full Description

Farrar reported a battered gold solidus of Theodosius with reverse Victoria Augg., was found by Mr C. R. J. Kimberley of 26a Haven Road, Canford Cliffs, Bournemouth, using a metal detector, in the bed of the stream running into Chapman's Pool, below high tide level. Not all details were legible though the mint mark appeared to be AVGOB (London). <1>
