Full Description
An unexpected discovery occurred on the site of a Roman villa excavation in the shape of a small Bronze Age cremation cemetery.

‘A round barrow had been levelled in the Iron Age and Roman times, leaving its ring-ditch traceable with a diameter of 6m. Four cremation pots were recovered in-situ with the remains of two others not far away’
