Full Description
A possible sunken way, aligned roughly on Sharford Bridge. To the east it appears to divide into several sunken trackways. It appears on an AP in 1946 but appears to have been ploughed out by an AP of 1972. (1)
A group of sunken trackways are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs of Sharford Bridge, Corfe Castle (2-4). They are considered most likely to be historic in origin, although an earlier date cannot be ruled out. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.

'SHARFORD BRIDGE: linear feature, possibly a sunken way aligned roughly on Sharford Bridge. To the east it appears to divide into several sunken trackways. It is quite clear on the RAF/VAP//1946// 1821:4404 but appears to have been ploughed out by the DDC/1972/5585 202008. Site lies on land occasionally ploughed and in ley pasture.'
