Monument record MDO7371 - Lime kiln south of West Orchard Farm, Church Knowle

Summary
A lime kiln shown on an early (1805-7) one inch scale map, but not on the second edition (1900-2) Ordnance Survey map. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be late nineteenth century. The site was visited in 1992-93 by Peter Stanier, who could find no trace of the kiln structure.
