Features associated with the shrunken medieval settlement of Church Knowle are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (Royal Air Force 1946; Royal Air Force 1962). The features have been plough-levelled or built over. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
