A round barrow of possible bowl-type, 41ft diameter x 1.5ft high, disturbed in centre. <1> <3>

SY 78688418. Barrow, in rough grass, diameter 12.0m, height 0.4m. No visible ditch. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <4>

A Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery <5> to the west of the Five Marys barrow group, Chaldon Herring. The barrow is sub-circular and measures 10 m in diameter. It has a narrow ditch around it, which is curtailed on the northern side by a modern field boundary. This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
