Full Description

A barrow is shown on OS 1" 1811 at about SY87759595. (Not shown on subsequent OS editions and therefore presumably destroyed) (RCHME 1970).

The area is under crop and no barrow is visible on the ground or on air photographs. The farmer states there is no mound or evidence of stone when ploughing. (Attrill 1981; Stone 1981)
