Summary

Ring ditch of probable Bronze Age date, approximately 25 metres in diameter with a ditch up to circa 3 metres wide. Recorded as a soil mark in a ploughed field.

Full Description

A rapid examination of air photography suggests the presence of two further possible round barrow sites, of Prehistoric or Roman date, visible as ring ditch cropmarks at: D - SY 8236 9681 E - SY 8241 9676. <2>
