A bowl barrow in woodland. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 56 feet in diameter with a mound about 10 feet high.

Full Description

A bowl barrow 24 paces diameter, and 8ft high. <2>

This barrow has a diameter of 18.0 metres and a height of 2.5 metres. There is no ditch and there are no traces of mutilation. The barrow is fern covered. A fine bowl barrow. <3>

SY 86139539. Tree covered, bowl barrow, 56ft diameter and about 10ft high in Bere Wood. <4>

A bowl barrow measuring 22.2 metres in diameter and 2.4 metres high. (See ground photographs). Revised at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5>
