Full Description
B has a diameter of 14.0 metres and a height of 1.7 metres and has no surrounding ditch. Like A it has been mutilated by the passage of vehicles in an East-West direction. A heather covered bowl barrow. <2>

B- A large bowl barrow; no details given. <5>
A Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery to the south east of Furze Coppice, Bere Regis. The barrow is formed of a sub-circular mound measuring 13 m in diameter. {3} It is scheduled together with a second barrow located approximately 72 m to the north west (see linked record). This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
