Full Description

An attractive double-arched stone bridge carrying a bridle path over the Corfe River. Might be 17th or 18th century. It is in reasonable condition, recently repaired. <2>

SY 96668476. Sharford footbridge, which spans the River Corfe on two arches, one pointed and the other rounded. The rubble-built bridge is recorded in a document of 1575, but may be earlier in origin. <3>
