Full Description
A ditch aligned roughly NW-SE was found by Poole Museum during an investigation to the rear of 45 Blandford Road, Hamworthy in 1989. The ditch was 0.65 m wide and 0.5 m deep and had a rounded terminal at its NW end. It contained some Roman pottery of 2nd-3rd century date and several fragments of briquetage. <1>
SZ 0028 9023. A C2nd-C3rd ditch aligned NW-SE was found during the excavation of an 8.0 m by 2.0 m trench along the West side of 45 Blandford Road, Homworthy. <1>
