Full Description

A small amount of 12th/13th century pottery was recovered from Parkstone in 1985, close to the north east shore of Poole Harbour. There is documentary evidence for a settlement in this area during the twelfth century. (1)

Medieval site, at Parkstone, Poole (SZ03259045). A small amount of 12th/13th century pottery has been recovered from the above site, which is close to the north east shore of Poole Harbour. There is documentary evidence for a settlement in this area during the 12th century.
