Full Description
Canford Great Park was a deer park, in existence by 1291. It was situated to the south of the River Stour and probably occupied the loop of the river which extends northwards towards Little Canford. The present A341 road probably formed the southern boundary of the park, but its exact extent is not known. No park earthworks survive.
The park was no longer used for deer by 1583. <1> <3>
