One Neolithic leaf-shaped arrowhead and two Bronze Age barbed-and-tanged flint arrowheads found in the Abbotsbury Road area, Broadstone, Poole. The finds are in Dorset County Museum.

Full Description

One leaf-shaped and two barbed and tanged arrowheads were found in this area and are now in the David Loader Collection, Dorset County Museum 1940.2.1. <1>

The area in which the Neolithic arrowhead and the two Bronze Age arrowheads were found is now occupied by modern houses. From enquiries it seems that no further finds are known, and no surface finds were made during investigation in the area. These arrowheads were found by a Bournemouth builder, Mr David Loader. <2>
