No information was obtained at the gravel pit; the foreman knew of no finds made during the last five years. Mr. Calkin's information came from the late H.P. Smith. The present location of the coin could not be ascertained. <2>

Bronze coin of Diocletian was found in Alderney Gravel Pit. The precise identification of the coin and the findspot is not known, nor the present whereabouts of the coin. <3>
