Full Description
Site of the Ancient Pound, Longfleet, formerly under the jurisdiction of the Lord of the Manor of Canford. <1>
The pound was at the junction of Fernside Road and Pound Lane. It is marked as a small square structure on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map epochs 1-3. <2-4>
By the mid 1930s it had been removed and replaced by a small roundabout. <5>
