Full Description

(Centred at: SZ 018988) Many scrapers and flakes here. <1>

The area is occupied by modern houses, the residents knew nothing of these finds. At SZ 01799887, in the garden of No.9 Oakley Road, two small flints were found and these showed signs of having had flakes struck off them. These flints were not cores however. Mr Calkin's information on this site probably came from E C Chancellor, who was formerly on the staff of Canford School, but has now left the district. There are no other details regarding these finds. <2>
