Full Description
`A'. A bracken covered bowl barrow with a slight depression in the top. The mound has a diameter of 16.0m., and a height of 2.0m.The surrounding ditch is 3.0m. Wide and 0.3m. Deep, and is grass covered. <2>

`A'. SZ 00569748. Bowl barrow, diameter 16.0 metres, with a ditch 3.0 metres wide, making overall diameter 32.0 metres. Ditch 0.5 metres deep maximum, height of mound 2.8 metres above ditch. Stands on golf fairway and is very well preserved. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
The barrow is visible on 1940's aerial photographs as a mound 16m in diameter with a 3m wide ditch <7>. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

'ROSE LAWN GROUP (SZ 09 NW). Eight barrows, forming a compact group though with no obvious focus, on and towards N.E. end of broad ridge above 200 ft. contour. Most are on golf course. (388) Ditched bowl (00579749). Diam. 48 ft., ht. 8 ft., with ditch 12 ft. wide and up to 1 ft. deep. Hollowed on top.'
