Monument record MDO6636 - Bowl barrow, one of the East Hill Group, Weymouth

Bronze Age barrow, visible as a low earthworks on aerial photographs. One of a group of barrows at East Hill. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project {1-2}.

Now mostly ploughed, but some still visible on skyline from Broadmayne bank barrow (19). Two barrows (LVG 31a and LVG Osmington 2), one possibly a disc, are untraceable. … Weymouth: … (424) Bowl (71148451) 60 yds. S.E. of (423). Diam. 50 ft., ht. 3 ft. Centre dug out.'
