Monument record MDO6426 - Bronze Age round barrow, Knowlton Barrow Group, Woodlands

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 55 feet in diameter, the mound levelled by ploughing. The site of the round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs . It lies to the SW of the southern henge of Knowlton Circles and is one of the extensive Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. The ring ditch is 21m across, it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
