Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated on a low hill north east of Martin's Farm Bungalow. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 43 feet in diameter with a mound about 3½ feet high. The barrow is visible as a low earthwork on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A ditchless poorly shaped bowl barrow, mutilated in the east by a slight trench. Published survey (25" 1900) revised. <1>

A marginal note in pencil by L J Keen gives a grid reference of 06540889 for this monument. A Bronze Age bowl barrow situated on a low hill. In 1975 this monument was reported as being around 43 feet in diameter with a mound about 3½ feet high. The barrow is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs and lidar imagery <4-5> and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
