Summary

A round barrow of a type known as a bowl barrow. This monument was reported in 1975 as being approximately nine metres in diameter, and much reduced by ploughing.

Full Description

A bowl barrow, part of the Oakley Down barrow group (SU 01 NW 19). It was described by RCHME as a mound circa 30 feet in diameter, but levelled by ploughing. There is no record of any excavation. The most southwesterly of the group, the barrow is located immediately southeast of the modern road (A354). This barrow was formerly recorded as part of SU 01 NW 19.
