Summary

A round barrow of a type known as a bowl barrow. Located just southeast of the Dorset Cursus. In 1975 this monument was reported as being about eighteen metres in diameter and almost half a metre high. The monument has been much reduced by ploughing.

(SU 02641682) Tumulus (NR). <2>

Bowl barrow, much damaged by ploughing, lies 30 yds east of the Dorset Cursus and just outside Salisbury Plantation; former diameter 60 ft, height 1 1/2 ft. <3>

A bowl barrow located just southeast of the Dorset Cursus, close to the point where the Neolithic long barrow SU 01 NW 47 is incorporated into the Cursus' northwestern bank. RCHME described it as a mound much damaged by ploughing, but previously measured at 60 feet diameter and 1.5 feet high. <1, 3, 4>
