Full Description

A cropmark feature visible on air photographs. Both RCHME & Grinsell regarded it as a round barrow, RCHME describing it as a ring ditch circa 50 feet in diameter. More recent air photographs appear to show the monument as a sub-rectangular or sub-oval ditched enclosure, orientated northwest-southeast, and possibly open at its northwest end. It may therefore be a long or oval barrow. It is one of a cluster of round barrows, ring ditches and other features scattered around neighbouring fields (see associated monuments). This site was previously recorded as part of SU 01 SW 20.
