Pottery works and kiln site, part of the Verwood Potteries. It was first in use during the early 19th century and closed during the late 19th century.

Verwood kiln 10 <4> or site 6 (Young) <2> was first in operation during the 19th century by Joseph Shearing. By the 1840s his son Henry was the tenant. The kiln was closed during the late 19th century. <2, 4>
