Full Description
A barrow levelled by ploughing but visible as cropmarks on air photographs. It is circa 100 feet in diameter and is one of a group of three (see ST 91 NE 55 and 102).
[Note: Barrow group name 'Thorney Down Farm Group of Barrows' is too long to fit in the Status & Codes section. RCHME name for the barrow group uses the more archaic/alternative name for the farm as spells it Thorney Down Farm; rather than Thorneydown Farm].
