A Bronze Age bowl barrow visible as a low rise 24.5m dia. north-east to south-west and 26m dia. north-west to south-east and 0.8m high. A quarry ditch is visible around the burial mound on aerial photograph NMR ST9403/1. This photograph shows a soil mark with a dark central area surrounded by a ring of chalky soil. Another ditch 112,772 appears to link the ring ditch tangentially with that of 112,057 on the south-west sides of these barrows. They lie on a south east slope and RCHM (1975) considers that one of these two barrows is the Badbury Barrow described by Austin (1846, 348) but see 112,059.
