Summary

Bronze Age bowl barrow on Ashley Heath. The barrow mound is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Bowl barrow 18 paces in diameter and 5ft. high. <2>

Bowl barrow 17.0m. in diameter and 1.6m. high, planted with young conifers and with no trace of a surrounding ditch. <3>

Surveyed at 1/2500. <4>

No change, as described in 1954. Published 1/2500 correct. <5>
