Monument record MDO5956 - Bowl barrow, one of the Bokerley Down Group, Pentridge

A bowl barrow located immediately southeast of the southeastern end of s probable Neolithic bank barrow. This monument was described by an Ordnance Survey field investigator in 1969 as a grass covered bowl barrow 18 metres in diameter and 1.5 metres high. There is no surface trace of a ditch, and ploughing up to the base has given it a square perimeter.

Listed by RCHME as Pentridge 32 and by Grinsell as Pentridge 5, it was described by an Ordnance Survey field investigator in 1969 as a grass covered bowl barrow 18 metres in diameter and 1.5 metres high. There is no surface trace of a ditch, and ploughing up to the base has given it a square perimeter. <2, 5>
