Summary

A bowl barrow located immediately southeast of the southeastern end of s probable Neolithic bank barrow. This monument was described by an Ordnance Survey field investigator in 1969 as a grass covered bowl barrow 18 metres in diameter and 1.5 metres high. There is no surface trace of a ditch, and ploughing up to the base has given it a square perimeter.

'A' A grass covered bowl barrow some 18.0m. in diameter by 1.5m. in height which has been ploughed at the base to give a square perimeter.There is no trace of a ditch. … Published 1/2500 revised. <3>

A bowl barrow located immediately southeast of the southeastern end of the probable Neolithic bank barrow SU 01 NW 40. Listed by RCHME as Pentridge 32 and by Grinsell as Pentridge 5, it was described by an Ordnance Survey field investigator in 1969 as a grass covered bowl barrow 18 metres in diameter and 1.5 metres high. There is no surface trace of a ditch, and ploughing up to the base has given it a square perimeter. <2, 5>
