Please read our .

Summary

A circular soil mark about 55 feet in diameter visible on aerial photographs and interpreted as a ring ditch, the probable remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. In 1975, W H Hoade recorded it as being 75 feet in diameter, the ditch being 3-4 feet wide. He also noted a mark in the southwest quadrant about 14 feet square which he suggested might be traces of an episode of excavation.
