Full Description
The site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (2-3) and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. The barrow mound is 13m across and encircled by a ring ditch.

'Three barrows lie in a straight line on a gentle N. slope immediately N.E. of the Roman road from Hamworthy to Bath and almost parallel with it. They have been levelled by ploughing, but appear on air photographs (C.U.A.P., AUP 39; AXO 33). The photographs also show traces of a number of much smaller rings, possibly, but by no means certainly associated with the barrows. … (76) Barrow (96410424).’
