Summary

A possible round barrow is depicted by Colt Hoare on his plan of the course of the Ackling Dyke roman road (RR 4c). Field investigation by the Ordnance Survey in 1954 could find no trace of a barrow in the vicinity. At the time, the field was under pasture. Neither RCHME nor Grinsell mention the site in the barrow lists.
